Why I DESPISE Christmas

Christmas has just become way too commercialised. I really would love to have a Christmas of yesteryear, where presents and gifts weren't as important as they now are. I find it sad, almost pathetic that people are constantly trying to out-do themselves or other people when it comes to gifts. Are our egos really that big (especially in the British Isles and North America)? We seriously need to re-think and re-evaluate our way of thinking about Christmas. So, let me help;

What is Christmas? Christmas is a one-day holiday celebrating Jesus' birth for Christians and other religious people but most people spend it with family and catching up on what has been happening throughout the year.

When does Christmas occur? Christmas occurs on December 25th every year and does not start from August to mid-January, even though some people would prefer it that way (I'd kill myself first :P).

When is it OK to talk about Christmas (adverts, etc) and to put up a tree and decorations? It is OK to talk about Christmas during December only. You should put up your Christmas tree and decorations on the December 18th, approximately (one week before Christmas).

These are just my opinions on Christmas. And because Christmas is truly about greed and selfishness, I am refusing to celebrate this, now fake, commercial holiday. So, like I've said in my video, don't expect any Christmas cards or gifts from me. And ANY gifts I do receive will be going directly to charity.

I'm sorry if this offends you, but I just can't celebrate something that currently has no meaning in it, and gets everyone so God-damn stressed out.
